My mind is blank today
Staring at the screen, and not one thing comes to mind to type today. I think that is scary. I should have at least one thought in this head of mine.

Yesterday took doggies for a walk, and took some pictures

This is a picture of Cookie. He is suppose to be a Papillon, but I truly have my doubts. He is a good doggie though. His latest thing is trying to catch the barn swollows that are always dive bombing him.

Unporductive Dave
Yesterday was an unproductive day for me. I got chores done, dishes, and a few things, then spent the rest of the day either on the computer or reading my book. Today have to get lots done to make up for yesterday.

I haven't taken my camera out for almost a week now. Going to take the dogs for a walk today and take it with me. Maybe I will get some good shots.

Don't know much else today.

Today's picture is of one of my Tiger Lillies. Next year, planting more flowers, love to take pictures of them.......

Just another day in paradise
Last night Ryan and Robyn stopped, Rob and Bex and Carter, Cory and Becca.......Had the houseful.

Got a lot done yesterday. Main floor cleaned back up. Today, basement.

Did good on diet yesterday again, though no exercise. Will try to get the doggies for a walk and lift some weights today. I still feel so much better then 6 weeks ago. I have 2 weeks before I have to go buy my outfit for the wedding. God, I hate buying clothes. A hunt I never have good luck with. Maybe this time I will get lucky. Going to meet Jane in Willmar and she is going to help me.

Today's picture is an older picture of Rob and Bex at Graduation in Willmar. Also one of him and Baby Carter.

Monday Morning Blues
I don't do mornings well, probably because I do nights very well, and Monday's are the worst. Then, it didn't help that I got on the scale and maybe, if I suck in stomach, wiggle on the scale just right, and read the numbers leaning to the left, I might have lost a half a pound this week. That scale better move more next week! I am going to start exercising this week. I have been very lax in that department. I think I will take the dogs for a walk everyday, then 3 days a week lift weights. See if that helps the scale moving in the right direction.

This week I thought I would post my favorite pictures of the boys. Since I have had Adam on a few times, (though, can't get the leaving for college picture to load up), thought I would work my way up. This is one of my favorites of Cory. Taken with my Cannon g2, but love his expression, and love catching the kids in their work clothes.

Today is catch up day. I have to get the house cleaned back up, looking kind of (very) neglected, fridge is gross, gotta clean that, then hopefully will get some more time to work on Rob's computer. I have to find drivers for his sound card, video card, and I think modem. Dave says I spend way too much time on the computer and don't get anything done (pretty much a true statement, the too much time anyway), so I will get lots of work done first, then play on the computer.

Also today, enough with the camera bag already. Just order one and be done with it. Can't get the cool one I really love, so just get one that protects that camera, that is not so expensive, so I can get my portrait lense. Order it today!

Lazy Sunday

Ok, I'm trying again to get Adam's picture to open up. This is Wed. morning at 7:00, the boy couldn't wait to get out of here. He was meeting Brittney and heading to college to start his new life. I hope he knows how lucky he is to get this oprotunity (like, if I could have gone to college, I could spell opprotunity), and works hard, and learns everything he can, to make this a great experience for him.

Lazy day today. Sundays always are. I should have went to church. Got to start doing that again.

Wasting time on the computer. Have to learn to be more productive......till tomorrow

Long time, no blog
Well, it has been a few days since I have added an entry. I had my 48th birthday this week. Spent the day in Redwood. First had to visit my sweet baby boy. He has been hurting with lots of teeth coming in lately. That can't be fun. So was hard to get a picture of him without his fingers in his mouth. Managed to get a few. Bex wants me to take his first birthday portrait. That should be great fun! I am adding a few pictures that I snapped on Wednesday.

I have been working on getting Rob and Bex computer up and running again. I just might do it (with a LOT of help from Bill and Julie). Has been fun trying to do this. I love learning how to do new things. Is funny how computer people just assume you know how to go from step A to step B. In the magazine artical I read about cleaning a hard drive and reinstalling, they just leave out how to wipe out the hard drive. I guess they assume everyone is born with that knowledge. Anyway, after a few emails, and lots of phone calls to Julie and Bill, I think we are going to get er'done.

Today is Dave's birthday. An old friend of his called and sang him happy birthday. Mike Knott, you made Dave's day! He is a very cool old friend.

Here a picture I took of Carter on Wednesday.

I'm Back Home
Spent a day with mom and dad going through pictures. That was fun, seeing us all when we were little, seeing mom and dad so young. Funny how all our personalities were shaped when we were young. You can see it in the pictures. Chris was always looking like he was looking for trouble, with this cute little glint in his eyes. Julie was wearing jewlery, and doing her hair since she could walk. I was hiding from the camera, and Wade was just a sweet kid, trying to stay out of the older kid's line of fire. Kelli was in the pictures just yet.

Sat. went to a shower that Julie's friends through her. Was a lot of fun. She has a group of wonderful friends. Went to Karakoe bar after. We all had one beer too many, cheered on all the singers and just had lots of fun.

Felt pretty good Sunday. Just hung around Julie's house till one, then headed out. Got home to a houseful of kids. Made them all homemade pizza for supper. The boys all helped Dave bail hay.

Here is a picture I found of myself. Trying not to be picture shy...................

Rainy days
Today it rained. I am not complaining. We have hay cut, and I wanted to leave this weekend. If it didn't rain, I would have either stayed home, or left and felt guilty all weekend. Now I can leave and enjoy myself. Going to mom's on Friday, and then we have Julie's shower on Sat. Sunday just going to sleep in, then get up and do some window shopping before heading home. I am doing some cooking ahead of time, so they have food to eat. Beanareno, hotdogs, bbq, roast beef in gravy. That should get them through the weekend. Going through mom and dad's old pictures to get them ready for their 50th anniversary. Wow, 50 years. I think that is something to celebrate

I want to be River People
Back from our little 3 day vacation. Enjoyed every minute of it. When we got into town I could actually feel the river before I saw it. I know that sounds weird, but I told Dave "we are by the river, can't you feel it". He said no, but the next block, there she was.......Within 5 hours my noise had opened up, and within 24 hours, my asthma symptoms were gone. We both loved the town so much. I want to retire there! I want to be River people. I could tell when we went to restaurants and other places the river people. It wasn't just the tan that gave it away. They radiate health, and are so happy. We took a boat ride on the mississippi for an hour and a half. I loved it, and I think Dave did too. The old captian was such a character, and looked alot like Grandpa Gruis. I could have stayed in Redwing forever. I miss it now that I am home, maybe not the town, but the river.

Perhaps Julie is right, maybe some of my illness is the mind-body connection. I started getting my asthma symptoms before we were even home. In the car by Morgan I stated feeling my lungs closing up. Now I am home, the weather is miserable, and I know there is something out there that I love...

My picture today is one of the boat marinas in Redwing
